Memorial Gifts Make a Difference at HCHC

Dr. Robert Wettach

Dr. Robert Wettach

Throughout his life, Dr. Robert Wettach treated many patients at Henry County Health Center. Upon his passing, his family decided to give funds in his memory to Henry County Health Center Foundation. The result of that gift has made a big difference in treating patients at Henry County Health Center Foundation.

Memorial funds from Dr. Wettach were used to purchase a portable data scope and the rolling stand to which it is attached. This essential piece of equipment is housed in the Inpatient Services Department and gathers and monitors the patient’s vital statistics. Because it is portable, it can be used in a variety of departments throughout Henry County Health Center. What a great way to extend the legacy of Dr. Robert Wettach!

Many other families in Henry County have included Henry County Health Center Foundation in their memorial giving. Anonymous donations have provided the HCHC Emergency Medical Services Department with lift-assistance devices, the HCHC Emergency Department with a convertible chair/bed and Park Place Elder Living with a communication tablet.

Memorial gifts are an excellent way to help Henry County Health Center Foundation further its mission to support the health and wellness of the residents of Henry County and surrounding area. Gifts also can be planned in advance, so their use can be designated by individuals and their families.
